Julie Brothers, MD
Julie Brothers, MD is a Pediatric Cardiologist in the Division of Cardiology at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Brothers serves as the Medical Director of the Coronary Anomaly Management Program at The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. This program is dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of children and young adults with anomalous aortic origin of a coronary artery (AAOCA). Over the past decade, Dr. Brothers has published numerous peer-reviewed manuscripts and book chapters on AAOCA. She has served as Principal Investigator on several grants and clinical studies in this patient population. Dr. Brothers is also the overall Principal Investigator of the multi-institutional AAOCA Registry of the Congenital Heart Surgeons’ Society, which is the largest repository of its kind worldwide.
